Nice/ Monte Carlo/ Florence Depart on your transatlantic flight.
 Arrival Nice. After clearing customs we will be met by our professional tour escort who will greet and assist us to our private deluxe motorcoach for transfer to hotel for check-in. We invite you to explore this city of enchanting gardens and exotic flowers. It is the capital of the French Riviera - a seaside town where English and Italian royalty converged. After dinner, a panoramic tour of Nice to view the baroque Palais Lascaris in the city's historic core and a walk along the Jardin Albertler with its open-air terrace and Triton Fountain. Overnight Nice. (B/D) Today we take a scenic drive to Monte Carlo, a small principality of Monaco, governed by the Grimaldi family. Visit the Prince's Palace, home of the ruling family built as a Genoese fortress in 1215. Also visit Monaco Cathedral where Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III were married and where Princess Grace now rests. Then visit Saint-Martin Gardens, which surrounds the Oceanographic Museum and showcases indigenous trees and flowers. Also visit the Monte Carlo Casino and Opera House Afternoon free in Monte Carlo to explore the casino or shop at the many boutiques including Boutique du Rocher, for handicrafts and souvenirs. Return to Nice for some shopping along the Riviera. Dinner on your own. Overnight Nice. (B/L)
 Today we depart Nice and drive through the Tuscany region to Florence. Along the way we stop at Genoa to visit the Piazza de Ferrari surrounded by impressive buildings. Continue on to Piazza Matteotti to visit the Church of Saint Ambrogio and Palazzo Ducale. Time for lunch before continuing to Florence. Transfer for hotel check-in. Tonight we enjoy the local specialties for dinner. Overnight Florence. (B/D)
 In Florence, we visit the highlights of this beautiful city including Basilica de Santa Croce (Holy Cross) where Michelangelo and Galileo are buried. We will visit the famous two chapels with their fabulous frescoes and the Cloister. We will also walk to the Piazza Del Duomo, to see Giotto's soaring bell tower of pink, green and white marble and the Baptistery with Ghilberti's masterpiece of metal work which Michelangelo referred to as the "Gates to Paradise." We will visit the monastery leather design school and the largest leather factory in Florence. The rest of the afternoon is free to browse the shops. Overnight Florence. (B) Today we depart Florence for a scenic drive to Rome - the Eternal City. After hotel check-in, we will visit the highlights of Rome including the Colosseum and Roman Forum. We will also visit the Spanish Steps and the Cathedral of Rome - Basilica de San Giovanni in Laterano. Dinner and overnight Rome. (B/D) This morning we attend the Papal audience and blessing. Swiss guards surround the Basilica and Audience Hall assuring all is peaceful in eager anticipation of the Holy Father's entrance. After the Papal audience, the afternoon is free to walk, browse shops, visit the museums, or just relax in an outdoor cafe. Tonight a farewell dinner. (B/D)
 Today we will visit the magnificent Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel where you will raise your eyes to Michelangelo's 'Creation' and 'Last Judgment.' We will visit the Gallery of Chandeliers, the Gallery of Tapestries and Maps, Library and more! Afternoon free. Dinner on your own. Overnight Rome. (B) Today we will travel to the airport for our return flight home.
